Friend Makin’ Monday {The Simple Woman’s Daybook}

Outside my window… Is a very cloudy sky, wind…lots of wind and a chance of snow.

I am thinking…. that I can’t wait until April when I can work from home.

I am thankful… for my husband, my two little pups, my family, Starbucks coffee, creamy chocolate Coffee-mate, Friday afternoon naps and being able to lead the life I want to lead.

I am praying… for my sister, nephew, and hubs’ safety on the road.

I am reading… blogs and more blogs, my favorite magazines and a book by Nicholas Sparks.

I am creating… tons of blog designs and Colleen is helping me create my office.

From the kitchen… the smell of Apple Cinnamon

Around the house… I need to finish cleaning up.

One of my favorite things… Grandma brand cookies.

A few plans for the rest of the week… hopefully relax my brain more, finish up laundry, design, watch some TV and hopefully this weekend I can go and pick up my new computer.

New Year’s Resolutions {2010}

Try not to be so cranky & learn how to live in the moment.
Go to the gym at least 3 times a week consistantly.
Save for a new couch!
Start a savings account for me and Hubs and contribute to it every week.
Re-decorate my office.
Take Tucker to obedience school.
Love deeper.

4. Favorite Christmas song? Ahhh man…I have no idea what the name of it is.

5. Christmas tree: Real or fake? Fake…I’m allergic to the real ones.

6. Hottest celebrity? Right now…David Boreanaz off of Bones.

7. Favorite restaurant? Red Robin

8. Favorite magazine? People

9. Favorite thing to drink around the holidays? I don’t really have a favorite drink around the holiday. I guess a Mich Ultra would be good.

Friend Makin’ Monday {Thanksgiving}

1. Turkey or Ham? Definitely ham! I’m not a big fan of turkey.
2. Favorite side dish. Trees and Root {My mother-in-law makes it and it’s my favorite! It has broccoli, cauliflower, onions, bacon and some kind of sauce.}
3. Favorite dessert. Hmmm…this is a hard one! Cupcakes, cheesecake, cake…pretty much anything sweet.
4. Black Friday: Are you going or not? I am going to Hobby Lobby and that’s it. I went last year for the first time with Hubs and waited in line in the freezing cold for Best Buy to open. I did get my Nikon camera but I didn’t really enjoy standing in the cold.
5. If so, what’s on the top of your list? Hobby Lobby for Christmas decorations.
6. Going out of town or staying close to home? Staying close to home. Going to my Mom’s.
7. Hosting or helping? Helping.
8. Name one family tradition at Thanksgiving. We don’t really have any but I am going to make my own family tradition…taking everyone’s picture for their Christmas cards.
9. What do you do after dinner? Sit around and drink coffee and just chat.
10. What are you most thankful for this year? Marrying my best friend, bringing Noah home safely, getting closer to all of my family, and gaining new members to our family.
